Underground at Dartbrook

Plan to re-open existing mine

Objective - to immediately recommence underground mining operations to produce circa 2.5 mtpa.
  • Dartbrook has the CHPP and TLO infrastructure to enable underground mining operations to recommence for up to 7 mtpa run of mine (‘ROM’)
  • Proposed operator has prepared a working mine plan and business case for 2.3 mtpa ROM
  • Circa $20m initial capex required to recommence underground operations (expenditure primarily on conveyors) allowing up to 4.7 mtpa capacity
  • First ROM coal to be produced within 6 months from acquisition completion with full production within 12 months
  • Presence of existing infrastructure will significantly reduce development costs
Substantial drilling database forms the basis of Mineral Resource Estimate in accordance with the JORC code for the proposed mining operations.
