Underground at Dartbrook
Plan to re-open existing mine
Objective - to immediately recommence underground mining operations to produce circa 2.5 mtpa.
Dartbrook has the CHPP and TLO infrastructure to enable underground mining operations to recommence for up to 7 mtpa run of mine (‘ROM’)
Proposed operator has prepared a working mine plan and business case for 2.3 mtpa ROM
Circa $20m initial capex required to recommence underground operations (expenditure primarily on conveyors) allowing up to 4.7 mtpa capacity
First ROM coal to be produced within 6 months from acquisition completion with full production within 12 months
Presence of existing infrastructure will significantly reduce development costs
Substantial drilling database forms the basis of Mineral Resource Estimate in accordance with the JORC code for the proposed mining operations.
